If we call the people from the Netherlands the Dutch (in english) and we call the people from Germany the Germans (in English) and the Germans call themselves the Deutsch (in German) then could there be a connection between the word dutch and Deutsch?
i think the french call the Germans Allemanni or is it they call Germany Allemagne, or the Allemanni were a Germanic tribe named by the Romans? in which case do the Germans (Deutsch) call the french by another name? frank? and what do the french call themselves? and is there a connection between the words frankfurter; the franks; and the french?

speaking of the romans why is italy called italy or italia? and what do the romanians call the french or the italians as they speak a romance language as well. if tagalog has traces of spanish in it, then is it considered a romance language as well? let's find out. wikipedia states:
"Tagalog is a Central Philippine language within the Austronesian language family. Being Malayo-Polynesian, it is related to other Austronesian languages such as Indonesian, Malay, Fijian, Maori (of New Zealand), Hawaiian, Malagasy (of Madagascar), Samoan, Tahitian, Chamorro (of Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands), Tetum (of East Timor), and Paiwan (of Taiwan).
It is closely related to the languages spoken in the Bicol and Visayas regions such as Bikol, Hiligaynon, Waray-Waray, and Cebuano.
Languages that have made significant contributions to Tagalog are Spanish, Min Nan Chinese, English, Malay, Sanskrit (via Malay), Arabic (via Malay/Spanish), and Northern Philippine languages such as Kapampangan spoken on the island of Luzon."
